Lando Norris is a British racing driver who competes in Formula 1 for McLaren. A 1-time Formula 1 World Champion, he is one of the standout names of his generation.
Lando made his Formula 1 debut in 2019. Across 159 Grand Prix starts he has scored 11 race wins, 46 podiums and 29 pole positions, racing under number 1.
Born on 13 November 1999, Lando has raced in Formula 1 for McLaren. His victories span 11 different circuits, including Miami International Autodrome, Circuit Park Zandvoort and Marina Bay Street Circuit.
Norris was the 2017 FIA Formula 3 European champion and finished runner-up in Formula 2 the following year before McLaren promoted him for 2019. He has never raced for another team. His first Grand Prix win took until Miami in 2024 - his 110th start - and the number 1 on his car marks the drivers' title that followed.
